What better way to enjoy the Repco Bathurst 1000 than to travel on the Aurora Australis train to the Great Race! Travel on the 1960’s ex-Southern Aurora train for the most convenient and stylish way to enjoy Australia’s greatest touring car race. Enjoy the convenience of staying onboard the train on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Buses will take you to and from the circuit from the nearby Bathurst Railway Station.

Details

Day 1

Your Bathurst Race'N Rail adventure starts at Sydney's Central Station where you will check in

and be greeted with a welcome drink. Please note your departure time of 12.00pm is

approximate and accurate timings will be advised closer to travel.

Once onboard the Aurora Australis, settle into your cabin and be welcomed by one of our

friendly Hospitality Attendants, who will acquaint you with your cabin and surrounds.

While we travel west from Sydney to Bathurst, lunch will be served before an afternoon of live

music onboard and testing of your knowledge in our Bathurst 1000 Trivia. Dinner will be served

this evening, and the train will stable in Bathurst overnight, ready for the Repco Bathurst 1000

tomorrow. (L, D)

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast onboard before your transfer to the iconic Mount Panorama Racetrack for an

adrenaline-fueled day one of Bathurst 1000. Listen to the roar of engines and watch the blur of

race cars as they zoom past your reserved grandstand seat. After a thrilling first day at the track

you will return to the train by coach, where a carefully curated dinner will be served onboard.

Day 3

Wake this morning to a delicious breakfast onboard before transferring to the Mount

Panorama Racetrack for a heart-pounding day two of Bathurst 1000. Experience the thrill of the

"big race day" from your reserved grandstand seat. Each twist and turn on the track builds the

excitement, leaving you on the edge of your seat while this major event takes place. Join the

celebrations once the winner is finally crowned and when the dust has settled, return to the

train for your final dinner onboard. (B, D)

Day 4

Enjoy one last breakfast onboard as you travel from Bathurst back to Sydney. Reflect on your

time at Bathurst 1000, the highs, the winners and the sheer excitement of Mount Panorama.

Arrive into Sydney Central Station at approximately 12.00pm, where your Bathurst Race'N Rail

Adventure comes to an end. Please note your arrival time of 12.00pm is approximate and
